Welcome to the Elephant Care Camp in Mae Taman, Chiang Mai. Our camp, established in October 2022, provides care for majestic and well-trained elephants rescued from starvation in the jungle. Located conveniently near popular tourist attractions, visitors can engage in activities such as feeding, creating vitamin balls, and bathing the elephants. Experience a profound connection with these incredible creatures at our camp.
Itinerary
Half Day Program
Morning 7:00-7:30/ Afternoon 11:00-11:30 am: Pick up from your accommodation in Chiang Mai City.
- Introduction, feeding, interaction, and photography with the elephants.
- Mud spa and bathing in the local river.
- Enjoy a meal and seasonal fruits.
11:30 am - 12:00 pm / 3:30-4:00 pm: Return to your accommodation.
Full Day Program
7:00-7:30 am: Pick up from your accommodation in Chiang Mai City.
- Introduction, feeding, interaction, and photography with the elephants.
- Mud spa and bathing in the local river.
- Cooking Demonstration and Lunch: Learn to make papaya salad and indulge in a buffet of traditional Thai food.
- Practice communication skills with the elephants
- Perform physical examinations, and prepare herbal vitamins for them.
3:30-4:00 pm: Return to your accommodation.
