Khao Kho located at Phetchabun province, about 400 km north of Bangkok. It is a famous destination on winter due to the cold weather and beautiful landscape of mountain and a sea of cloud (Talay Mork). This terrain is a home of local hill tribe called "Hmong", so there are many attractions that related to Hmong culture and lifestyle especially strawberry and cabbage farms. 10 Things you must see in Khao Kho and Phu Tub Berk
1. Strawberry Farms
First activity you should not miss while staying at Khao Kho is harvest fresh strawberry by yourself. Khao Kho is a place where you can see abundant of strawberry fields due to the cold weather and clean environment. The best period are around November to February.

2. Cabbage Farms
Phu Tub Berk is a large cabbage plantation ground for Hmong hill tribe. Tourist can see these gigantic cabbage farms all the way to the top of the hill.
3. Sunrise at Phu Tub Berk view point
Apart from cabbage farms, the top of Phu Tub Berk is one of the best place for camping, stargaze and see a sunrise. Due to the place is higher than 1.7 km above the sea level, the weather will be always cold for whole year and tourist can visit at any period.
4. Wat Pha Son Khaew
One of Thailand's most beautiful temple. Located at the top of the hill in north of Khao Kho. You can see the 5 giant white Buddha statue surround by mountain. Also, there are many colorful ceramic plates decorated inside the pagoda.

5. Pino Latte
Pino Latte is located not far from Wat Pha Son Khaew. A famous place for Facebook check-in and Instagram post. Why don't you try some slice of cake while enjoy a panoramic mountain view.

6. Wind Farm
See a unique view of strawberry farm with 100 meters tall windmills as a background at Khao Kho Wind Farm. Tourist can ride a tram for only 60 Baht to get a closer look of each windmills and visit both strawberry and cabbage farms.
Also, there is a beautiful flowers field at GB farm. This place have a variety of local activities to do such as wooden cart "Hmong Formula" and "Hmong Giant Swing".

7. 360 Degree view point at Khao Ta Kiean Ngo
Khao Ta Kiean Ngo is a 360 degree view point for both sunrise and sunset at Khao Kho. If the weather is good, you will be surrounded be a sea of cloud.
8. View point at Khao Kho post office
Khao Kho post office is another famous view point at Khao Kho, where you can see the panoramic view of sea of cloud in the morning. Also, there is a camping area for tourist to spend a night.

9. Sridit Waterfall
Sridit waterfall was a former hiding place for Communist insurgents. So, there are the Communists house and some tools remain around this area. Moreover, In 1984 King Rama IX once visited the area and use the building nearby as a work place to develop Khao Kho area after the war.
The waterfall named after Sergeant. Prapoj Sridit, Royal Thai army soldier who sacrifice his life in this area while fighting against the Communist.

10. Tanruk Talaymok
Café and restaurant with a close view of a sea of cloud in the morning. It is a good place for take a rest after a long journey with a garden where you can spend a moment to take a selfie with beautiful flowers.
