By Car

Route 1

From Bangkok, take Highway No. 32 (Asian Highway) north through Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Ang Thong, Sing Buri and Chainat to Nakhon Sawan. Continue on Highway No. 1 (Phahonyothin Road) through Kamphaeng Phet and Tak to Lampang. From Lampang, take Highway No. 11 towards Hang Chat and Doi Khun Tan before entering Lamphun Province. At Doi Ti Intersection, take Highway No. 114 to reach Lamphun city centre. Highway No. 11 is one of the main roads providing access to Lamphun.

Route 2

From Bangkok, travel north on Highway No. 32 (Asian Highway), passing Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Ang Thong, Sing Buri and Chainat until reaching Nakhon Sawan. From there, take Highway No. 117 towards Phichit and Phitsanulok, then continue on Highway No. 11 through Uttaradit, Phrae and Lampang. Follow Highway No. 11 through the Doi Khun Tan area into Lamphun Province, then take Highway No. 114 at Doi Ti Intersection to reach Lamphun city centre.

By Train

You can take a northbound train from Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal in Bangkok towards Chiang Mai and get off at Lamphun Railway Station, which is located close to Lamphun city center. Several types of trains operate along the Northern Line, including special express, express, and rapid services. 

By Bus

You can travel directly from Bangkok Bus Terminal (Chatuchak), also known as Mo Chit 2, to Lamphun by interprovincial bus. Services include Sombat Tour on the Bangkok - Lamphun route, or you can take Nakhonchai Air on the Bangkok - Chiang Mai route and get off at Doi Ti Intersection in Lamphun. Several bus classes are available, and the journey takes approximately 10 hours.
