Route 1

Take Highway No. 32 (Asian Highway) from Bangkok and travel north through Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Ang Thong, Sing Buri and Chai Nat before reaching Nakhon Sawan. From there, continue on Highway No. 1 (Phahonyothin Road) through Kamphaeng Phet and Tak. Continue north through Ban Tak and Sam Ngao districts, then towards Mae Phrik in Lampang Province. Follow Highway No. 1 through Thoen, Sop Prap and Ko Kha districts before reaching Mueang Lampang.

Route 2

Take Highway No. 32 (Asian Highway) from Bangkok through Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Ang Thong, Sing Buri and Chai Nat to Nakhon Sawan. Continue on Highway No. 117 towards Phichit and Phitsanulok, then change to Highway No. 11 and travel through Uttaradit and Den Chai District in Phrae Province. Continue along Highway No. 11 through Phrae and Mae Tha District before entering Mueang Lampang.

By Train

You can travel from Bangkok to Lampang by train on the State Railway of Thailand’s Northern Line. For long-distance services, the main departure point in Bangkok is Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal, and you can get off at Nakhon Lampang Railway Station, located in Lampang city. Most trains serving Lampang operate along the Northern Line towards Chiang Mai, with several types of services available. By Bus

Nakhonchai Air :

You can board at Nakhonchai Air Bangkok Terminal, Bangkok Bus Terminal (Chatuchak), commonly known as Mo Chit 2, or the Nakhonchai Air Rangsit boarding point. The destination is Nakhonchai Air Lampang Station. The Bangkok - Lampang route covers approximately 610 kilometres and takes around 8 hours and 20 minutes under normal traffic conditions.

1. WAT PHRA THAT LAMPANG LUANG

Wat Phra That Lampang Luang is one of Lampang’s most important sacred landmarks and one of the best preserved examples of traditional Lanna wooden temple architecture in Thailand. 2. Chae Son National Park

Chae Son National Park is one of Lampang’s distinctive natural attractions, well-known for Chae Son Hot Spring, a series of naturally heated pools reaching around 73°C, where boiling eggs has become a popular local experience. 4. Lampang Horse Carriage

5. Dhanabadee Ceramic Museum

Dhanabadee Ceramic Museum tells the story of Lampang’s ceramic heritage and its iconic rooster bowl, one of the province’s well-known local products.
