This is a beautiful sanctuary . They respect elephants and we have a AMAZING time. We first learn about the elephant and them give them food that they love. From today they only have rescue 12 elephants but with your ticket they will be able to rescue more, all the money goes to the sanctuary.

This exceeded our expectations! If you want the most of your experience, forget to bring your swimsuit - then you will get to buy either a swimsuit or some clothes after you get the ones you wore wet and dirty - ha!

Our host, a funny German guy (sorry we can’t remember his name) - he was great and gave us great information and kept the whole experience upbeat and fun. 

We didn’t read (or forgot) about the fine print so we were pleasantly surprised to have a Thai cooking class after feeding, bathing, mud-bathing and showering the elephants. The elephants themselves were amazing and the caretakers impressive. 

The cooking class was fun and our German-Thai host was so great to work with my food allergies. The food was delicious! And we would do the experience again just to have the fried chicken. So good! Best papaya salad we’ve had on our trip!

But wait, there’s more!…the swimsuits we bought at the shop (because we forgot ours) were actually cute! And when we were waiting for our ride at the end, they had cute elephant magnets for us to paint. 

A great experience, a great cause, great vibes. Would definitely recommend!

The best elephant experience around!

You can not spend a better few hours than around these majestic animals. Rescued and now living a very cared for life in this great sanctuary. From the moment you arrive to when you leave, all you see is how much the elephants are now loved and cared for. 

From a short lesson, mixing their food and feeding them. For more adventurous people, you get down and dirty, covering them in mud before going to a pool to wash them off.

Everything was great!
The only thing is that, in my opinion, the lunch was too much food, and a lot of it got wasted because of that.

Amazing experience. We didn’t quite know what to expect but exceeded our expectations. All elephants extremely well looked after with dedicated keepers. Getting so close to these beautiful animals was such an experience. I would encourage anyone to get into the water as incredible. Facilities are great and towel are provided so you can take a shower and change after your time with the elephants. We also did the Thai cooking class with was fun. The buffet provided was great with a choice of food to suit everyone. We would both thoroughly encourage a visit to this sanctuary. Oh must add return transport well organised too. 

The Elephant Reserved Activity at Phuket Elephant Care was an unforgettable experience! The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and ensured the elephants were well cared for. The half-day program was perfectly organized, and the hotel transfer was convenient. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Phuket!
