In 2025, the Old Chiangmai Cultural Center proudly celebrates 55 years of sharing the rich cultural heritage of Northern Thailand with over 3 million guests from around the world. As the birthplace of the original Khantoke Dinner Show, first introduced in 1970, the center was established to honor and showcase the traditions of the Lanna Kingdom. The performances presented have evolved over centuries, with many dances choreographed within the past 150 years—the latest in 1957—yet all remain deeply rooted in ancient customs, preserving the timeless spirit and cultural identity of the region.
