Freediving is a new way to explore the underwater world and there is no better place to start than Koh Tao. Koh Tao is the dream destination for many professional divers. This trip you will have an unforgettable experience of learning how to do freediving. The course takes about 1 and a half days for a lecture, practice and a real dive. Once you complete the course, you will receive a certificate and also a beautiful underwater photo of you.
Itinerary
Day 1
7:00 hrs. Getting in the Lomprayah boat from Thung Makham Noi pier Chumphon to Koh Tao
10:00 hrs. Check-in at Koh Tao Montra Hotel. Free to relax and explore around Koh Tao.
Day 2
13:30 hrs. Pick up from Koh Tao Montra Hotel
14:00 hrs. Lecture basic of freediving
16:00 hrs. Return to Koh Tao Montra Hotel
Day 3
8:00 hrs. Pick up from Koh Tao Montra Hotel
8:30 hrs. Practice in the swimming pool
11:30 hrs. Lunch at your own expense
12:30 hrs. Free diving in the open sea
17:00 hrs. End of the course, receive the certificate and underwater photo then return to the hotel.
Day 4
12:00 hrs. Check-out from hotel.
14:45 hrs. Getting in the ferry and return to Chumphon
Know before you go
- This package is start from Lomprayah Thung Makham Noi pier. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before departure time (7:00 hrs.)
- Freediving is deep water diving without an oxygen tank. It's a skill that requires learning from a professional instructor.
- Basic freediving course in this package is operated by Big Bubble which is certified by PADI and the course can be done in both Thai and English language. The course will take 1 and a half days in total which cover both lecture and practice in the swimming pool and real dive in the sea. It's suitable for those who can swim but experience in scuba diving is unnecessary. Once complete the basic course, there is an advanced freediving course for those who are interested.
