Freediving School Information
Big Bubble Dive School is a famous diving school under Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI). Each diving course will be taught by professional multi language instructors with all high standard learning and diving equipment to ensure that all students will get the best experience throughout the course.
Package1: PADI Basic Freediving
2 days course for newcomers to freediving, over 12 years old. You will learn the basics of freediving for 5 meters deep, Static Apnea (90 second), Dynamic Apnea (25 meters) and basic rescue.
Day 1
13:30 hrs. Pick up from hotel in Ko Tao
14:00 hrs. Lecture about freediving basic
16:00 hrs. Return to hotel
Day 2
8:00 hrs. Pick up from hotel
8:30 น. Practice in the swimming pool
11:30 hrs. Lunch break (at your own expense)
12:30 hrs. Freediving in the sea
17:00 hrs. Receive the certificate and return to hotel
Package 2: PADI Freediving Level 1
3 days course for divers who passed basic freediving, over 15 years old. You will learn advanced freediving skills for deeper dive and advanced rescue.
Day 1
12:30 hrs. Pick up from hotel in Ko Tao
13:00 hrs. Lecture about freediving basic
16:00 hrs. Return to hotel
Day 2
8:00 hrs. Pick up from hotel
8:30 hrs. Practice in the swimming pool about duck dive and clearing ears
11:30 hrs. Lunch break (at your own expense)
12:30 hrs. 5-7 meter Head First & Foot First exam in the sea
16:00 hrs. Return to hotel
Day 3
8:00 hrs. Pick up from hotel
8:30 hrs. Rescue practice in the swimming pool
11:30 hrs. Lunch break (at your own expense)
12:30 hrs. Rescue exam in the sea
17:00 hrs. Receive the certificate and return to hotel
Package 3: PADI Advance Freediving Level 2
4 days course for divers who passed Freediving Level 1, more than 15 years old. To complete this course, divers are required to pass these skills: Static Apnea for more than 2.30 minutes underwater (2 minutes for those under 18 years), Dynamic Apnea and underwater rescue.
Day 1
12:00 hrs. Pick up from hotel
13:00 hrs. Lecture about holding breath underwater, floating, free fall and warm up.
16:30 hrs. Return to hotel
Day 2
8:00 hrs. Pick up from hotel
8:30 hrs. Lecture about safety and rescue
11:30 hrs. Lunch break (at your own expense)
12:30 hrs. Practice about floating and Free Fall on the sea
16:30 hrs. Return to hotel
Day 3
8:00 hrs. Pick up from hotel
8:30 hrs. Lecture about STA, LMC Rescue
11:30 hrs. Lunch break (at your own expense)
12:30 hrs. 15 meters free fall diving
16:30 hrs. Return to hotel
Day 4
8:00 hrs. Pick up from hotel
8:30 hrs. 20 meters freediving and practice rescue
12:30 hrs. Apnea Training
14:00 hrs. Final exam
15:00 hrs. Receive the certificate and return to hotel

Ferry
Lomprayah pier Chumphon is located 24 km. from Chumphon city or 6.8 km. from Sairee beach. The best way to travel is by personal car or using transfer service to the city.
Lomprayah Koh Tao private pier is located in Maehaad pier.
Travel to Ko Tao from Bangkok
There are 3 ways
1. By Plane
There is no airport in Ko Tao, so the popular route is via Samui airport by Bangkok Airways. From Ko Samui, you can connect to Ko Tao by boat which takes about 1.30 hours.
2. By Bus and Ferry
The most convenient and only direct journey to Ko Tao. It's operated by Lomprayah Ferry which leaves from Khaosan road and travels for 7-9 hours by bus then another 2.45 hours by ferry to Ko Tao.
3. By Train to Chumphon
We suggest taking an overnight sleeper train which arrives at the Chumphon train station before 7:00 hrs. to take the shuttle van to the ferry pier before 8:00 hrs. On the return, you can take an afternoon ferry then take a train leaving at 19:30 hrs. to Bangkok.
