This program offers a comprehensive elephant conservation experience at ChangChill, starting with a pick-up from Chiang Mai city. Participants journey to ChangChill for an introduction to its history and conservation efforts. The day includes a guided elephant walk in the forest to observe the sanctuary's resident elephants and learn about their behavior and conservation from knowledgeable guides.
Visitors enjoy traditional Thai refreshments at a rest station overlooking a mud pit where elephants bathe, followed by a riverside session on elephant enrichment and a vegetarian lunch. The visit concludes with insights into local culture at the Karen Cultural Centre, where visitors can learn traditional weaving techniques. The program aims to educate guests on elephant conservation and encourage ongoing support for these efforts.
This activity take place in Mae Wang district in Chiang Mai and it's location is not suitable for guest to travel by themselves. We have transport included in this program which pick up is free from hotel in Chiang Mai city area.
