We had Bangkok Sky Buffet Dinner at Baiyoke Sky Hotel on the 78th Floor. 

To get to Baiyoke Sky Hotel: We took the BTS to Phaya Thai station and changed to the Phaya Thai station Airport Rail Link. Then we got off at Rachaprorop station, which is just one station from Phaya Thai station. If I remember correctly, we came out of Exit 3 of Rachaprorop station. Then we turned left and walked straight until the footbridge. We went up the footbridge to cross the road and get to the other side of the street. At the end of the foot bridge we turned right and walked down. Then we turned left into the road. If you walk straight you will then see a big sign in blue on the hotel, which states Baiyoke Sky Hotel.

Registration: When you arrive at the Baiyoke Sky Hotel you would need to first take the elevators to the 19th floor to register. There are two time slots for this buffet, which are 5:15 pm and 7:15 pm. We booked the 7:15 pm. We arrived at the 19th floor at around 6:45 pm. Therefore, they suggested us to go to the 77th floor observation deck first to see the view while waiting to go to the 78th floor. On the 77th floor you can take pictures with different poses. On the 77th floor, you are able to walk up to 78th floor or walk down to 76th floor by stairs. 

Seating: We were assigned a window seat. Our seat had a beautiful view of Bangkok.

Food: They have the following food on the day we visited for reference. The restaurant could change it without notice.
(1) Salad section: tomatoes, coleslaw salad, potato salad, maccaroni salad, corns, sliced onion, sliced carrot, lettuce, sliced cabbage, mixed vegetable, boiled cabbage and mashed potato, baked spinach with cheese, spicy seafood salad and spicy oyster salad, spicy salmon salad.
(2) Seafood section: steamed egg with seafood and Thai style hot and spicy with shrimp (Tom Yum Goong), stir fried seafood with chili & salt, baked shrimp with glass noodle, deep fried sea bass, mixed seafood with seasoned fish sauce and steamed rice, deep fried fish & steamed rice, salmon with pickled ebiko & steamed rice, grilled squid, steamed seafood (clams), grilled seafood (prawns), river prawns, schile mussel and squid.  
(3) Soup section: white jelly with mushroom soup with whit egg, seafood cream soup, etc.
(4) Fried section: French fries, deep fried spring rolls, deep fried chicken meet roll, crispy wonton, shrimp crackers
(5) Japanese section (a) Sushi: Ebiko Maki, Salmon Sushi, Ebi Nigiri and Kani Sushi (b) Sashimi: Salmon and Crab Meet (c) Fried Tempura.
(6) Pasta section: Spaghetti Carbonara, Spaghetti Agloi E Olio and Pad Thai Fried Noodle with River Prawn.
(7) Rice section: Fried rice. 
(8) Beef in soup section: Choice of Wagu Chuck Roll and Kurobuta Pork. You can ask to add noodle.
(9) Pizza section: Pizza seafood, Hawaiian pizza.
(10) Beef section: wagu beef stake, beef tongue steak, pork loin steak, salmon steak and chicken breast fried steak.
(11) Drinks, which are free: Soft drinks (Coca Cola (Original Taste), Coca Coal (Zero Sugar) Fanta and Sprite), Juice (Pineapple, Guava, Mixed Fruit Juice, Orange Juice, Butterfly Pea Juice and Thai Milk Tea) and coffee machine.
(12) Drinks, which you need pay: Water (THB 25 per bottle), Beer (Brand: Leo Supreme (THB 100 per can), Leo Beer (THB 199 per can), Chang Beer (THB 199 per can), Corona (THB 350 per bottle) and Soju (Brand: Mehae). There were some promotions such as for Leo Beer, Tiger Beer, Chang Beer and Singha Beer if you buy 3 it would be THB 350, if you buy 6 it would be THB 650 and if you buy 12 it would be THB 1,200. – Prices may change without notice.
(13) Desert: Ice Cream (Vanilla and Chocolate), different types of cake and various fruit.

My favorite was the sushi, sashimi and Wagu Chuck Roll in soup with noodles. Spaghetti Agloi E Olio was very spicy and needs to be less spicy. The chicken breast fried steak was nice. But the wagu beef steak was a bit tough to chew maybe because I asked for medium rare. French fries were not that hot. Hawaiian Pizza tasted ok. Overall, we were satisfied with the food on offer and the taste. 2 hours time limit was just enough. As we sat next to the window the view provided us a relaxing atmosphere.

Special Occasions: They would sing you happy birthday and provide you with a complimentary cake. For us they sang the congratulation song by Cliff Richard for my daughter’s middle school graduation. They wrote congratulations on the complimentary cake. This was done at around 1 hours 30 minutes into dining.

Service by staff (waitress): If you ask to refill a certain food it would be done quite promptly. They would try to take away the dishes you finished promptly. If not then you just need to let them know when they walk pass you.

Guest: Mixture of international and local Thai guests.

Occupancy: The restaurant was at full occupancy on the day we visited.

Observation Deck: The package we bought included viewing on the 77th floor (Closes at 10:00 pm) and 84th floor (Closes at 11:00 pm) observation deck. We went to 77th floor observation deck before dinner. After dinner we went to the 84th floor observation deck. The difference between the 77th floor and 84th floor was that the 84th floor observation deck was revolving. Just by standing at a certain spot as it is revolving we were able to see stunning night views of the whole of Thailand from the 84th floor revolving observation deck.  

I believe its worth to try it when the package included not only buffet but the observation deck viewing as well. We will definitely consider coming back when we visit Bangkok again.

Building is amazing.  The viewing revolving top floor is amazing especially at night. We had the buffet on the 78 floor. Food was fresh cooked with a wide range. Lots of sea food, wagu steakes, one of the desserts choices is the bubble pancack which was scrumptious! The staff were wonderful and ever attentive.  A lovely evening for us!

We booked the buffet on the 78th floor through Trip. The food was good and service was great but we we were the victim of credit card fraud by the staff. 
We had 2 glasses of wine for the amount of 423.72 bht but my account was debited for 10684.42 bht towards Baiyoke Hotel. The waitress was sneaky and walked away with my card which was odd but I didn't want to cause a scene which I should have on hindsight.

อาหารอร่อย วิวดี พนักงานยอดเยี่ยมทุกคนครับ
แต่ทั้งผมและแฟนที่ไป หลังจากทานเสร็จ เช้ามาท้องเสียทั้งสองคนเลย 🥹

อาหารหลากหลายน้อยลง กุ้งแม่น้ำตัวเล็กลงไปเยอะ (ราคาเท่าเดิม) ไม่ใช่ขนาดที่นำมาทำกุ้งเผา น่าจะขนาดทำต้มยำ ไม่มีหลายเมนูที่หายไป เช่น ส้มตำ พิซซา แต่มี่อร่อยสุดน่าจะเป็นซุ้มชาบู วากิว อาหารญี่ปุ่นมีขนาดเล็กลง พื้นที่ขอให้ดูและเรื่องความสะอาดให้มาก ส่วนต้อนรับ ทางขึ้นไปชั้นบนสุด ... ที่จอดรถซับซ้อนมาก ... ที่ดีสุด คือ บรรยากาศ/วิวข้างนอกสวย แต่นั่นไม่ใช่ส่วนของโรงแรม ... ควรปรับปรุงภาพลักษณ์ให้ดีกว่านี้ ทางเข้ามีแต่ชาวต่างชาติขายของ (ไม่แน่ใจว่าถูกกม.?)...จุดถ่ายภาพข้างบนก่อนไปชมวิวบนสุดยังโอเคแม้จะเดิมๆ  

ประทับใจค่ะ ตั้งแต่ขอความช่วยเหลือเรื่องการเลื่อนวันนัด ไปจนถึงวันเข้าทานอาหาร เราแจ้งทางร้านว่า จะพาแฟนไปทานเนื่องในวันเกิด ถ้าเป็นไปได้ขอที่ริมหน้าต่างได้มั้ย และทางร้านรับเรื่องดีมากค่ะ วิวดีมาก มีเซอร์ไพรซ์เค้กวันเกิดและมีนักร้องมาร้องเพลงอวยพรให้ด้วย  แฟนตื่นเต้นและประทับใจมากๆค่ะ เป็นปีที่น่าจดจำปีนึงเลยค่ะ ขอบคุณนะคะ❤️
